Welcome to Help. This site is similar in design to our This Is Local London portal site pictured
below, where each section of the page is numbered and a description of the section can be found below.
- The main content of each page appears in the central column.
- To the left of the page is the main site navigation bar in purple with white links. This is divided into
two halves, the upper for editorial and the lower for our marketplace with sections on homes, jobs, cars and
businesses.
The currently displayed page causes the relevant section of the navigation bar to be highlighted with a
white background.
- Many sections of the site have multiple subsections which can be selected using the navigation tabs
at the top of the central column. Again, selected tabs are highlighted with a white background.
- There is an extensive text search facility which can find any stories and articles in the London
newspaper group currently going back to 1998.
- E-News provides regular updates by email. You can sign up for articles by subject and receive these daily,
bi-weekly or weekly in your mailbox first thing in the morning.
- From time to time sections of the site which might be of particular interest to our readers are featured
in the right hand column.
- At the bottom of each page in the central column there are buttons for more advanced usage of the site,
including emailing the current page to your friends, setting up your browser to start at this site and viewing
the site map. You can also send feedback to Newsquest with your comments about the site, positive or
negative.
