THE Ilford War Memorial Gazette was the official publication of the Ilford War Memorial Committee, publishing from 1920 to 1926. The aim of the committee was to raise �20,000 for a memorial children's hospital, a "wall of memory" and a monument for those who had sacrificed their lives in World War I.
